Position	Sales & Applications Engineer - Offshore (Quote Ref BKSAE01-10)
Location	Offshore Department based at Birkenhead
Job description	To secure the profitable growth of both land and offshore contracts relating to air conditioning, refrigeration and process cooling installations, we have a new requirement for a Sales & Applications Engineer at our Offshore Service operation. You will be required to widen the customer base of J & E Hall’s Offshore and Land business and carry out contract execution involving design, purchasing and contract management. In conjunction with the Offshore Development Manager, you will ensure maximum sales coverage within the area, agreeing appropriate sales margins and ensure these margins are achieved and maintained at contract completion. You will accurately estimate projects, identifying the correct tailored solution to meet our customer requirements and be responsible for allocating J & E Hall and (where necessary) sub-contract labour for the installation of the contract, with specific responsibility for satisfactory technical and financial results. You will plan the project execution process to ensure the Company meets its contractual obligations. Ensuring that both Company and Customer technical and safety standards are maintained, making recommendations for improvements where necessary. You will be responsible for verification of supplier invoicing against orders raised and the preparation of detailed sales invoice(s) in accordance with Company operating procedures. You will:  Be available to travel offshore (relevant survival training will be given)  Possess technical sales and quoting experience within all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning (mechanical & electrical)  Have a recognised apprenticeship (mechanical and/or electrical) plus proven relevant experience  Have good control of sales and contract management processes  Possess strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal) We offer an attractive salary, commensurate with experience, 6% Company Contribution to Stakeholder Pension Plan and 25 days holiday.
