J & E Hall International has launched the new HallScrew HSS 3100 series of compressors, boasting an ultra small footprint. The HSS 3100 series is designed for air and water cooled air conditioning systems and glycol-based packages.
As you would expect from the HallScrew collection, the HSS 3100 series is reliable, highly efficient and has low noise levels. Designed for high temperature applications, there are four models in the range – with displacement at 50Hz from 175 to 292 m3/h – with the same casing dimensions.
J & E Hall International marketing director Tony Wright said: “Years of development of the HallScrew compressor has established a comprehensive product range. This latest addition, the HSS 3100 series, is extremely compact – only 400mm in width – making it ideal for applications where space is at a premium.”
Reflecting the very latest innovations in HallScrew technology, all HSS 3100 models have a new oil management system, especially designed for the series, with a check valve on the delivery port, a built-in filter and connections for liquid injection and economiser.
The HSS 3100 series also has a stepless capacity control system and easy access for inspection and servicing. The series has been designed to run on refrigerants R134a and R407c.
A further addition to the HSS 3100 series, aimed at the refrigeration market and covering medium to low range temperatures, will be available later in the year. This is designed to run on R404a, R507 and R134a.
