J & E Hall International has opened a regional contracting office in Peterborough. The new office at Brookfield Park in Werrington will handle contracts from the food, leisure and pharmaceutical industries – traditional areas of business for J & E Hall. Newly-appointed Service Division Director Peter McAllister said: “We are delighted to open a new Regional Contracting office. It will offer support to our project business across the UK. This is a growth area and we’ve invested in new staff – working in sales and project management.”
Ron Hall has been appointed Regional Sales and Contracts’ Manager at Peterborough, working alongside sales and applications’ engineer Joe Nugent. J & E Hall also operates a Regional Contracting business out of Redbourn, Hertfordshire. The two offices will work side by side.
Elsewhere in the J & E Hall group, the offshore division has moved from Birkenhead to new purpose-built premises at Bassendale Road in nearby Brombrough on the Wirral, under the supervision of Offshore Business Development Manager Ted Quarry. J & E Hall has a long tradition of tackling work in the offshore and marine sectors.
The Cardiff Service Centre has relocated to larger, purpose-built premises between Cardiff and Barry. Gerald Williams has been appointed Service Centre manager, Andrew Christie is the new service technician, while Ceri Cronin joins the administration team. Both are former J & E Hall employees. Meanwhile, the Southampton Service Centre has relocated from Botley to larger, purpose-built premises at Claylands Park in Bishop’s Waltham, off junction seven of the M27.
Mr McAllister said the changes at branch level would lead to an improved service for customers: “These are exciting times for J & E Hall and the industry. Customer service is very important to us and this re-organisation at Service Centre level and in the offshore division will ensure that we continue to provide first class support for our customers.”
